Isaac Loman, 87, of Pine Haven, Wyoming, passed May 19, 2021. Isaac was born Sept. 8, 1934, son of Louis and Mattie Loman of Oklahoma. He was raised and educated in Oklahoma.
On May 16, 1953, Isaac married Virginia in Chickasha, Oklahoma. They made their home and started their family in Wichita, Kansas, until coming to Wyoming in 1960. First living in Casper then moving to Gillette in 1970.
Isaac’s primary focus was on his family. He and Virginia lived primarily in Pine Haven for the last 30 years.
Isaac loved fishing and hunting in Wyoming. He also loved woodworking and helping his kids and grandkids fix things that needed to be done.
Isaac is survived by his loving kids, Dot Barr of Wichita, Virginia Baldwin of Pine Haven, Mary Morain of Wichita, son Isaac Loman of Gillette; grandkids, Dorothy, David, Marlene, Sonja, Bobby, James, Lonny, Dawn, Punky, Sillena, Latisha; numerous great-grandkids and great-great-grandkids. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, and his youngest son.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday, May 24, 2021 at Gillette Memorial Chapel.
