MAMMOTH HOT SPRINGS, Wyo. — Yellowstone National Park recently announced that it has begun the process of spring plowing ahead of the park’s upcoming tourist season.

The first roads to open back up are tentatively scheduled to do so on April 18. The West Entrance road will be the first to reopen; it provides access to Old Faithful, Canyon Village, Mammoth Hot Springs and more.

The East Entrance will likely be the next to be ready for traffic, with an expected opening date of May 2. The remaining roads and entrances should open up throughout May, the park reports.
