Woody Jay Lint

Woody Jay Lint: 1973 – 2025

Woody Jay Lint age 52, of Gillette, Wyoming passed away in his home on February 7, 2025. Born on January 2, 1973 in Cody, Wyoming to Carol Kalian and Derward Lint. Woody was one of four children.

Woody was an exceptional man who had a strong love for nature. He was known as the “Woodland Creature,” from not only his family but from his friends and he sure lived up to the name living off the grid for many years, but he wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.

Woody went on to have two kids of his own, Payten Lint and Heaven Lint, and during his marriage with his ex wife, Woody also accepted and loved her two kids and considered them as his own: Allisha Brown(Kemerling) and Devin Kirk. Woody would also go on to adopt another child later on who he took in with arms wide open and loved also, Corbin Adams.

Woody is survived by his loving family: daughters, Allisha Brown (Kemerling) and Heaven Lint and her fiancé, Sterling Purcell; his sons, Devin Kirk and his fiance, Danielle Lund; Payten Lint and his wife, Chantel Lint; and Corbin Adams; all nine of his grandchildren: Jayden, McKenzie, Logan, Joslynn, Karson, Kierney Mae, Eastyn, Maci, and Maddix; his older sister, Helen Zemke; his father, Merlin Hill; best friend, Marty McIntosh; and his most prized companion in the whole world, his dog Echo.

Woody was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Hill; father, Derward Lint; older brother, Billy Lint; and loving two dogs, Taco and Badger.


Robert Ray Miller: 1968 – 2025

Robert Ray Miller passed away suddenly at his home in Jackson, Michigan on February 12, 2025.

Rob was born to Robert James and Clara Jean (Clark) Miller on May 31, 1968 in Jackson, Michigan. In 1985, he moved to Gillette, Wyoming and graduated from Campbell County High School in 1987.

On September 6, 1988 he joined the United States Army where he earned the Army Achievement Award for acts of courage during the Persian Gulf War.

He married Eva Lazarus in 1991. Together, they had three children. He later married Shari Vandewater and they made their home in Jackson, Michigan.

Robert was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Mae (Singer) Clark of
Parma, Michigan; paternal grandparents, Asil and Olive (Johnson) Miller of Parma, Michigan; his parents; and an infant brother, Randy Sabin.

He is survived by his wife, Shari Miller of Jackson; children: Steven (Elva) Miller of Gillette, Jae Miller and Robbie Miller both of Jackson; grandchildren: Braelynn, Santiago, and Leilanie; a sister, Debora (Dennis) Tucker of Gillette and brother, Ricky (Lora) Sabin of Jackson; nieces: Lisa (Michael) Spurlock of Santa Rosa, CA and Emily (Edward) Even of Gilllete; nephews Phillip (Babs) Tucker of Titusville, Florida and Davan Gerding of Jackson; and several great-nieces-and-nephews.

His celebration of life will be held at the American Legion Richard F. Smith Post in Jackson on March 29 at 12 p.m.; the family will greet visitors at 11 a.m. prior to the service. The family welcomes you to wear anything Detroit Lions in memory of him.


Janis Roberts-Pojman: d. 2025

Janis Roberts-Pojman, aged 71, of Gardiner, Montana, passed away at Central Wyoming Hospice, on February 23, 2025, after suffering from Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson’s Disease.  Janis was born in Kansas, on the Smokey Hill Air Force base, to Tillie and Ray Roberts. She spent her childhood in Casper where both of her parents were teachers. In 1971, she graduated from Kelly Walsh High School.  She then married her husband of over 50 years, Steven Pojman. They have two daughters, Leda Pojman and Rebekah Pojman-Taylor (John); and two grandchildren, Chris and Daniel Taylor.

Janis is survived by the above family members as well as numerous family and lifelong friends, who stood by her through the difficult end.  She is also survived by several “chosen” daughters, who she loved and treated as her own. Janis was close to her goal of collecting 10,000 perfume bottles.
