GILLETTE, Wyo. — A Friday night fire completely destroyed a Kilkenny Circle building, though nobody was injured in the blaze.
The Campbell County Fire Department was dispatched shortly before 9 p.m., and arrived on the scene to find the building engulfed in flames.
The department reported that a local resident attempted to extinguish the fire themselves, but was unsuccessful. Police officers and other emergency responders alerted neighbors and assisted in evacuating the area, the CCFD reports.
Crews quickly got to work containing the fire to prevent further spread. The homeowner was able to evacuate safely, and all occupants of the home were unharmed. No injuries were reported.
The fire was successfully extinguished, though firefighters weren’t able to save the building.
