Campbell County Fire Dept. Report (2/14/25)

GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Campbell County Fire Department responded to the following incidents on Feb. 14:

  • At 5:32 a.m. to West Walnut Street for an emergency medical response.
  • At 8:08 a.m. to West 8th Street for an emergency medical response.
  • At 10:09 a.m. to Vivian Street for an emergency medical response.
  • At 12:59 p.m. to Ironwood Street for an emergency medical response.
  • At 8:25 p.m. to Kristan Avenue for an emergency medical response.
  • At 8:57 p.m. to 504 Kilkenny Circle for a structure fire. The homeowner attempted to extinguish the fire but was unsuccessful. Prior to CCFD’s arrival, officers from the Gillette Police Department were on scene and swiftly worked to alert neighbors and assist with evacuations. Upon arrival, fire crews focused on containing the fire to prevent further spread to neighboring structures. The homeowner was able to evacuate safely, and all occupants of the home were unharmed. No injuries were reported. The fire was successfully extinguished; however, the shop was completely destroyed. The main residence sustained damage, and the fire also affected neighboring homes on both sides. CCFD extends its gratitude to the homeowner for quickly calling 911 and to all responding agencies and utility providers for their assistance.
  • At 10:37 p.m. to 1913 S. Douglas Highway for an activated fire alarm.
