Snow Friday, then warmer temps for Gillette

GILLETTE, Wyo. — Gillette should prepare for a mixed bag of weather this week, with snow returning to the area on Friday before a gradual warming trend begins next week.

Today, expect mostly cloudy skies gradually giving way to sunshine, with a high near 27 degrees. However, brisk northwest winds gusting at up to 23 mph will bring windchills down to 4 degrees.

Travel conditions today continue to be challenging. The Wyoming Department of Transportation is reporting area roads are slick in spots with snow and blowing snow.
