CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Gov. Mark Gordon has ordered both the U.S and Wyoming flags to be raised to full staff at the Capitol and all state buildings from sunrise to sunset on Jan. 20 to recognize the Inauguration of President Donald Trump.

“It is correct for our country to celebrate the inauguration of a new president and honor it with our flags flying high, just as we should continue to honor the life and legacy of President Carter by returning them to half-staff on January 21. Both actions mark our respect and reverence for the importance of these times,” Gov. Gordon said.

Flags will be returned to half-staff from sunrise Jan. 21 to sunset Jan. 28 in remembrance of former President Jimmy Carter.
