GILLETTE, Wyo. — The CAM-PLEX, in partnership with the Campbell County Public Recreation District, announced that it will continue to host the Rural Arts Program throughout the remainder of the year.
That’s according to a release from the CAM-PLEX that touted the success of the first half of its season, featuring productions of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer – The Musical,” “The Pout Pout Fish” and “Frindle.”
Following the success of those shows, the CAM-PLEX announced upcoming shows for the remainder of the 2024–25 season, including:
- Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025 – “Let’s Go Science Show” (fourth grade)
- Feb. 10–15, 2025 – “Missoula Children’s Theater” (all ages)
- Wednesday, March 12, 2025 – “Ada Twist, Scientist & Friends” (first grade)
- Wednesday, March 26, 2025 – “Dragons and Mythical Beasts” (third grade)
- Tuesday, April 8, 2025 – “Gangstagrass” (sixth grade)

“The Rural Arts Program is a grant-funded initiative and supports CCCPRD’s and CAMPLEX’s purpose to expand cultural, educational, and recreational opportunities for the residents of Campbell County,” the release from the CAM-PLEX states. “Through the Rural Arts Program, every student in Campbell County is given the opportunity to attend a free matinee with content related to their grade level. The CAMPLEX works with the Campbell County School District to align the shows to grade specific arts and performing arts curriculums based on State standards. These performances allow students to learn outside of the classroom. The program also presents evening performances with discounted tickets, which allows the public to enjoy these shows right here in Gillette.”
The release states that all shows start at 6 p.m., with lobby doors opening at 5 p.m. Concessions will be available.
Tickets are available at www.cam-plex.com or at the box office, which is open Monday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m.
