GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Campbell County Recreation Center will be home to the 15th annual climbing competition on Saturday, Feb. 8 beginning at 9 a.m.
Five divisions will be offered: beginner, intermediate, advanced, senior and open. Registration will be taken up to 8:45 a.m. the day of the event. Routes will be set for beginner to advanced climbers.
Competitors will try to accumulate the highest point total they can, with values based on difficulty and fewest falls, not speed.
The fee is $30 per person, which includes a T-shirt, food and drinks.
Due to the setup for the competition, the climbing tower will be closed Friday, Jan. 31 through Saturday, Feb. 8.
