GILLETTE, Wyo. — On Tuesday, the Campbell County Board of Commissioners held a public hearing for the county’s liquor license renewals.
County Clerk Cindy Lovelace said the liquor licenses under consideration pertain to establishments located outside city jurisdictions within the county. All applicants were renewed as part of a batch renewal process.
When asked by Commissioner Jim Ford, Lovelace informed the board that a liquor license previously approved for a location on Union Chapel Road would not be renewed due to an ongoing zoning issue.
Lovelace clarified the county’s liquor license situation, explaining that the primary limitation concerns licenses within a 5-mile radius of city limits. Currently, only The Office Saloon holds such a license, and two more are available.
The public hearing covered the following liquor licenses:
Retail Liquor License ($750)
- Chrysalis Hospitality LLC, doing business as Sweetgrass at Thunderbasin
- Jennifer McLaughlin, doing business as Spotted Horse Bar
- Prairie Sky Venue
- Norma J. Ruff and Justin Ruff, doing business as Ruff’s Rozet Bar
Limited Retail (Club) Liquor ($100)
- Moose Lodge No. 1957
Restaurant Liquor License ($1,500)
- Sinaloa Restaurant
- The Office Saloon
The licenses, once approved, will be effective from Feb. 7, 2025, to Feb. 6, 2026.
