GILLETTE, Wyo. — Campbell County residents may see some snowy conditions on Sunday, forecasts from the National Weather Service in Rapid City, South Dakota, show. Before that, the weekend is expected to begin with some clear Saturday skies.
Today should remain sunny, with a high temperature near 46, while windchill values feel as low as 19 early on.
At night, clouds are likely to move in as temperatures fall to a low of about 29 degrees. Wind gusts of over 30 mph are possible after sundown, the NWS in Rapid City reports.
On Sunday, the NWS in Rapid City reports a 60% chance of snow, mainly starting after 11 a.m. Very little accumulation is expected, as temperatures are also likely to climb into the 40s later in the day. Moderate winds of 13–20 mph are also possible throughout the day.
After nightfall, the chance of continuing snow showers drops to around 20%. The NWS in Rapid City reports a low of about 18 degrees.
