GILLETTE, Wyo. — Two schools are receiving condensing unit replacements following Campbell County School District 1 Board of Trustees action on Tuesday.
The board approved two bids, one each for Prairie Wind Elementary and Recluse Elementary, for the unit replacements.
Air-Tech Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. of Gillette was awarded the bids when trustees approved their consent agenda.
For Prairie Wind Elementary, Air-Tech Heating and Air Conditioning submitted a bid of $122,010. Powder River Heating and Air Conditioning submitted a bid of $131,891.
For Recluse Elementary, Air-Tech Heating and Air Conditioning submitted the low bid of $114,179. Powder River Heating and Air Conditioning submitted a bid of $132,518.
Funding for both replacements will come from the district’s state major maintenance budget.
