GILLETTE, Wyo. — As part of their consent agenda Tuesday, Campbell County School District 1 trustees ratified more than $200,000 in bids and quotes approved by Superintendent Alex Ayers, Deputy Superintendent Kirby Eisenhauer or Associate Superintendent for Instructional Support David Bartlett.
On Nov. 12, the Board of Trustees approved a resolution allowing the three superintendents to conduct business on behalf of the district. The following items were approved:
- Camera Upgrade for District Buses: AngelTrax of Dothan, Alabama, submitted the sole bid of $45,021.22 to upgrade cameras on district buses. The funds will come from the general fund’s transportation budget. It is marked as a reimbursable cost.
- 4-J HVAC System Replacement – Engineering Services: Associated Construction Engineering in Sheridan submitted the sole bid of $43,500 for the project. Funds will come from the district’s state major maintenance budget.
- Conestoga and Paintbrush Elementary Repairs – ADA Ramps: Powder River Construction Inc. of Gillette submitted the lone bid of $26,557.50 for repairs to the ramps. State major maintenance funds in the district’s budget will pay for the project, which was approved under the District Concrete Repairs Contract.
- New Aquatic Center Weight Room Equipment: Three bids were submitted and approved for the weight room equipment, including $4,945.64 from Fitlogistix, $16,198.20 from Game One and $26,923.61 from Push Pedal Pull. Funds for the project come from the Campbell County Community Recreation District, per school documents. The total of the bids is $48,067.45.
- Renewal for District Destiny Library Resource License: Follet School Solutions LLC will receive $36,977.52 for a one-year license for the district’s Destiny Library Resource. The license will be valid from Jan. 1, 2025, through Dec. 31, 2025. It’s paid for from the district’s general fund budget.
