US News & World Report recognizes Campbell County Health for maternity care

GILLETTE, Wyo. — Campbell County Health has received recognition for exceptional performance in providing high-quality, safe care for expectant mothers and their newborns, the healthcare organization announced Thursday.

According to a Dec. 12 release, the recognition comes through the U.S. News & World Report, which designated CCH as a High Performing Hospital in Maternity Care for Uncomplicated Pregnancy.

Per the release, the U.S. News & World Report’s Maternity Services rankings evaluate hospitals based on several key factors including C-section rates, newborn complication rates, breastfeeding support, VBAC rates, episiotomy rates and adherence to new federal birthing-friendly practices.

The local healthcare organization says the recognition solidifies its position as a standout for its commitment to providing excellent care throughout the pregnancy and delivery process, ensuring both mother and baby receive the highest level of attention.

“We are incredibly proud of our maternity services team for achieving this recognition,” CCH Maternal Child Manager Cass Hurley said in a statement. “It reflects our dedication to ensuring that every family receives the best care possible during one of life’s most important milestones.”
