After annual reorganization, CCSD1 trustees to award $824K in bids for work

GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Campbell County School District Board of Trustees will elect the chair, vice chair, treasurer and clerk/assistant treasurer as part of its required annual reorganization when it meets Tuesday evening.

The trustees meet at 6 p.m. in the Educational Service Center, 1000 W. 8th St. in Gillette. A recording of the public meeting will be available on GPA-TV 189 within a few days.

As part of the annual reorganization, the board will designate meeting times and dates, depositories and the newspaper of record; re-adopt policies; designate legal counsel; appoint trustees to serve on boards and committees; and complete a financial disclosure.

The meeting agenda also calls for Rozet Elementary Principal Travis Heitmann and Pronghorn Elementary Principal Brian Brandon to share their respective academic reports.

In other business, the trustees will hear from Erica Mund with Bennett, Weber and Hermstad LLP for a review of the 2023–24 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.
