GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Campbell County Board of Commissioners is giving its support for Hank Pridgeon’s nomination for the Wyoming Entrepreneur of the Year award.

Pridgeon is the businessman behind Hank’s Reno Junction Lodge and other ventures in southern Campbell County.

In a letter approved by the commissioners Tuesday, Commissioner Del Shelstad praised Pridgeon’s participation in the County’s Building Resilient Economies in Coal Communities initiative, particularly his inclusion of young and diverse voices in community discussions. Shelstad also highlighted Pridgeon’s creative recruitment strategies and his efforts to foster an inclusive and dynamic environment.

Pridgeon’s businesses have been vital to southern Campbell County, providing jobs, housing and essential services to the community, the letter said. His efforts have boosted the local economy and made Wright a more attractive place to live and visit.

Beyond his business success, Pridgeon is a dedicated community member who contributes his time and resources to local projects, Shelstad wrote.
