GILLETTE, Wyo. — Lakeview Elementary School’s Abigail Galarneau has been selected as the winner of the 2024 City of Gillette Christmas Pin Contest.
According to the City of Gillette, elementary school students are invited each year to submit their original sketches for the city’s annual Christmas Pin Contest. Galarneau is a student in Ms. Amanda Chism’s art class.
Galarneau’s win was announced before the Gillette City Council on Nov. 19 for her design featuring a rendition of Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer sitting in a field of snow flanked by Christmas trees.
Pins featuring Galarneau’s winning design will be available starting Nov. 20 in the City Clerk’s office on the first floor of City Hall, 201 E. 5th St., and are limited to one per person.
