GILLETTE, Wyo. — Campbell County has been awarded $95,000 to assist needy families with children through the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Community Partnership Initiative grant program. The program is aimed at helping families to become self-sufficient and reducing out-of-wedlock pregnancies.
The Campbell County Board of Commissioners has approved sub-award agreements with four organizations to provide services under the grant program. The organizations are:
- Council of Community Services: $26,575.75
- Youth Emergency Services Inc.: $39,212.75
- CLIMB Wyoming: $17,505.75
- Personal Frontiers Inc.: $11,705.75
The sub-award agreements require the organizations to provide services that align with the goals of the TANF-CPI grant program. The organizations must also comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
The TANF-CPI grant program is funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families. The Wyoming Department of Family Services administers the program in Wyoming.
