Gillette Happenings (10/26/24): Family Fright Night, Fall Festival and more

GILLETTE, Wyo. — The weekend before Halloween remains unseasonably warm. Today’s high is forecast in the low to mid-70s under mostly sunny skies. That should make for a beautiful day of experiencing the Gillette community.

Campbell County Public Library Family Fright Night

Children and their families are invited to dress in their favorite costumes and join the CCPL Children’s staff and community helpers for some ghostly good stories, skits and music. The library is at 2101 S. 4-J Road in Gillette.

Get a free ticket (required as space is limited) in the CCPL Children’s Department for the matinee or evening event.

Bring a nonperishable food item to donate to the soup kitchen.

Coal Country FFA Fall Festival

The Coal Country FFA of Thunder Basin High School is hosting its first Fall Festival. Bring the whole family to 4001 Saunders Blvd. in Gillette for a weekend filled with pumpkin picking, petting zoos, food trucks, face painting, games and more from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Setup will be in the back parking lot of Thunder Basin High School. Admission is by donation, and the pumpkins will be sold by the pound, with price varying by type.


Pumpkin Patch

Join for the annual ESF Pumpkin Patch from noon to 4 p.m.

Located at 705 W. Lakeway Road, right next to Expresso Lube.

Treat Street

The annual Treat Street event will be at CAM-PLEX Energy Hall, 1635 Reata Drive in Gillette, from 1 to 3 p.m.
