GILLETTE, Wyo. — The National Weather Service in Rapid City, South Dakota, is reporting that Gillette-area residents should expect some hazy conditions as they get their weekend started.
According to the NWS in Rapid City, areas of smoky conditions are likely throughout the afternoon. The day will otherwise be sunny, with a high temperature near 70 degrees. Moderate winds could gust as strong as 16 mph.
At night, skies should be mostly clear, with a low around 36 degrees. Wind speeds are predicted to remain fairly constant from earlier in the day.
Sunday’s skies should be clearer, though the day will likely be slightly cooler. The NWS in Rapid City reports a high near 64 degrees is likely. Light and variable winds are possible in the morning.
