GILLETTE, Wyo. — An online community survey allowing residents to participate in the Dalbey Park Improvement Study will remain active until next week, according to City Director of Public Affairs Jennifer Toscana.
The improvement study will be used by the city to guide future design and improvement efforts at Dalbey Memorial Park. It will take a closer look at water quality, floodplain mitigation, the potential extension of Sinclair Drive and current and future public facility needs, per the City of Gillette.
The online community survey was offered as an alternative for residents to be able to provide feedback if they were unable to attend an open house event on Oct. 9 at the Campbell County Public Library.
Toscana said there was a pretty good turnout from the community. Around 60 residents attended the open house event, where they provided input while taking full advantage of illustrations and information provided by city staff.
While the open house has concluded, Toscana said the online community survey will remain active until Tuesday, Oct. 15 to allow as much feedback as possible as it pertains to the Dalbey Park Improvement Study.
Toscana couldn’t provide a specific date for when the data from the study and open house event would be made available to the public, but she said an overview could be available in the next month.
