Jenna Rose Hoaglund: 1986 – 2024

Goodbye hurts the most when the story has not been finished.

Jenna Rose Hoaglund (38) of Gillette, Wyoming left this world behind in the loving company of those who cherished her the most, after bravely battling health conditions for numerous years.

Born to Tim and Tammy (Apland) Hoaglund on July 23 1986 (Casper, Wyoming), Jenna was the first of two children and was loved from the moment she took her first breath. Through her life, Jenna remained the pride and joy of her father who was her rock and her biggest supporter.

At age 8, the Hoaglunds, now a family of four, relocated to Gillette where Jenna would spend the majority of her life.

Jenna was your typical teenage girl. Loving her country lifestyle, her friends and most of all her sister Jacee.  She was active in numerous sports including volleyball and basketball, she was also involved in choir. In 2004, Jenna graduated from Campbell County High School.

After graduation Jenna’s life was filled with laughter and memories between her and her close-knit group of friends, leading her to meet and marry Shane Johner, with the birth of her oldest daughter, Shayna, soon to follow. Their little family grew quickly as they welcomed three more beautiful children: Shylo, Alton (AJ), and Blayne. Young but in love, Shane and Jenna could often be found together enjoying things they shared a passion for including bowling. As life happens, Jenna and Shane ultimately chose to separate, but Jenna continued to be proud of the gifts their marriage had given her.

In the years to follow, Jenna took pride in helping coach her daughters in volleyball and supporting them as they became involved in numerous other sports. She became a cheerleader when AJ began his journey into sports, and beamed with pride when Blayne became active in the special olympics. She continued to proudly support Blayne and his siblings until her time with them came to a close. Although Jenna is gone she will continue to support and cheerlead for eternity.

Jenna has left this world but did not cross over alone. She was welcomed by her mother, Tammy; as well as her maternal grandmother, Myrona Apland; and her paternal grandparents, Agnus and Stan Hoaglund.
