GILLETTE, Wyo. — Dr. Mark Hoskinson has resigned from the Campbell County Health Board of Trustees with the board announcing it will not fill the vacancy until after the general election.
According to an Oct. 4 release, Hoskinson tendered his resignation to Board Chairman Alan Stuber, citing his desire to focus on and redirect his efforts toward his responsibilities at his clinic.
“It has been a privilege to serve with [Hoskinson] on the board, and we are grateful for his dedication and the insights he has brought during his two years of service,” Stuber said in a statement. “His commitment to our community is deeply appreciated, and we wish him continued success in his endeavors.”
In a letter regarding Hoskinson’s resignation, Stuber said the board would postpone filling the vacancy until after the general election, with three seats currently up for election.
“This decision ensures a more seamless transition and allows us to move forward with the full composition of the board in place,” Stuber wrote, adding that details regarding the application process to fill the vacancy will be published when they become available.
