CCH Free Breast Exam Event
Campbell County Health will be hosting a free event to allow women of all ages to access important preventative screening for breast cancer at no cost. The event will take place at CCH, 501 S. Burma Ave., on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All exam results are confidential. To schedule an exam, call CCH at 307-688-1000 and use the extension 1583.
Teen Open Play Gaming, 2101 S. 4-J Road
The Campbell County Public Library offers open-play gaming for teens in grades 7–12 every Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Young gamers can sign up for turns and cooperatively choose games from the library’s collection.
PFLAG Gillette Drag Show Fundraiser, 1635 Reata Drive
PFLAG Gillette will be hosting a Halloween-themed event at the CAM-PLEX Energy Hall on Saturday. The Come Out, Come Out Wherever You Are Drag Show will help raise funds for the organization, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary. The show is an 18+ event and has two tiers of ticket options available: $35 for general admission and $50 for VIP. Tickets can be purchased by contacting PFLAG Gillette on Facebook. Halloween costume attire is encouraged. Doors open at 7 p.m. with a 7:30 show start time.
Blocktober Fest Family Fall Festival, 1000 Butler Spaeth Road
Join St. John Paul II Catholic School at its annual fall-themed festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for laser tag, seasonal treats and local brews. All families are invited to attend. Entry is $5 per person, and kids under 2 receive free admission. Extras like food and beverage from vendors and participation in the pie auction and silent auction are not included.
Karaoke at the Sundance Lounge, 1020 E. US Highway 14-16
The Sundance Lounge will host karaoke every Saturday at 8 p.m.
