GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Campbell County Fire Department responded to the following incidents on Thursday, Sept. 26:
- At 7:25 a.m. to the intersection of Harder Drive and Rodeo Street for a two-vehicle collision.
- At 8:22 a.m. to the 5200 block of South Winland Drive for a report of an electrical panel that caught fire. Firefighters checked to see if the fire was out prior to arrival and secured electrical utilities.
- At 1:49 p.m. to 408 Frontage Road for a report of a structure fire. Firefighters observed smoke filling the interior of the building. An AC unit was determined to have malfunctioned and there was no fire.
- At 2:11 p.m. to Hessian Street for an emergency medical response.
- At 3:48 p.m. to South Emerson for an emergency medical response.
- At 4:06 p.m. to the 1100 block of Granite Street for a report of a structure fire. A shed, tree, fence, grass and leaves were burning upon firefighters’ arrival. The fire was quickly contained with minor damage to the tree and shed.
- At 4:13 p.m. to Nepstad Drive for an emergency medical response.
- At 4:25 p.m. to mile marker 57 on Highway 59 for a report of smoke seen in the area. No fire was located.
- At 4:36 p.m. to Cotton Avenue for an emergency medical response.
Year to date, the Campbell County Fire Department has responded to 2,502 requests for service.
