GILLETTE, Wyo. — The public is invited to get a flu shot Friday during a drive-through clinic.
Campbell County Public Health is hosting the clinic from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Public Health Building, 2301 S. 4-J Road in Gillette. The clinic will be set up in the parking lot north of the building.
Flu shots cost $25. Public Health will bill insurance, Medicaid or Medicare. Those getting a shot are asked to bring their insurance card.
The Centers For Disease Control and Prevention said this year’s shot is trivalent, meaning it will provide protection against three different flu viruses. It takes about two weeks after receiving a shot for antibodies to provide adequate protection from the viruses.
