GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Campbell County Fire Department responded to the following incidents on Tuesday, Sept. 24:
- At 4:04 a.m. to Nathan Hale Road for a reported structure fire. Crews found a wood-burning stove inside the residence causing the smoke. Crews vented the building.
- At 4:12 a.m. to the 1200 block of Raymond Street for an activated fire alarm.
- At 10:43 a.m. to Hannum Road for an emergency medical response.
- At 11:06 a.m. to the 900 block of East Lincoln Street for a gas odor.
- At 1:01 p.m. to mile marker 30 Highway 50 for a grass fire. The fire was contained to 15.7 acres.
- At 1:16 p.m. to the 100 block of Cottonwood Lane for a gas odor.
- At 1:43 p.m. to the 1300 block of Muscovy Drive for a citizen assist.
- At 1:44 p.m. to the 600 block of South Garner Lake Road for an automatic fire alarm.
- At 2:16 p.m. to the 1500 block of Business Circle for an automatic fire alarm.
- At 3:44 p.m. to Birch Avenue for an emergency medical response.
- At 5:01 p.m. to the 4500 block of South Douglas Highway for an automatic fire alarm.
- At 5:40 p.m. to the 1700 block of West 2nd Street for an automatic fire alarm.
- At 7:48 p.m. to South Garner Lake Road for an emergency medical response.
Year to date, the Campbell County Fire Department has responded to 2,482 requests for service.
