GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Campbell County Fire Department responded to the following incidents on Tuesday, Sept. 17:
- At 7:29 a.m. to Hidden Valley Road for an emergency medical response.
- At 7:43 a.m. to Knollwood Drive and Meadow Lane for a single-vehicle crash.
- At 9:52 a.m. to the 2600 block of South Douglas Highway for an activated fire alarm.
- At 4:13 p.m. to mile marker 90 on Highway 59 for a smoke report. Firefighters were unable to locate a fire in the area.
- At 4:34 p.m. to the area of West Thomas Jefferson Road for a smoke report. Firefighters were unable to locate a fire in the area.
- At 4:46 p.m. to the area of Sunny Slope Road for a smoke report. Firefighters were unable to locate a fire in the area.
- At 4:54 p.m. to Fortification Road for a grass fire. The Livingston Draw Fire is estimated at 500–1,000 acres and is burning near the Campbell County and Johnson County line. The cause is under investigation.
- At 6:23 p.m. to Kluver Road and Spruce Avenue for a tree that had fallen into the roadway.
- At 6:56 p.m. to Bishop Road for a power pole on fire.
- At 7:05 p.m. to the 600 block of Olmstead Road for a smoke report. Firefighters were unable to locate a fire in the area.
- At 7:51 p.m. to the 100 block of American Road for an activated fire alarm.
Year to date, the Campbell County Fire Department has responded to 2,417 requests for service.
