GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Rockpile Museum recently announced that people will soon be able to learn about Wyoming’s birds of prey with the Draper Museum Raptor Experience.
The free special event is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 10 at 6 p.m.
The family-friendly event will give attendees the chance to meet Teasdale the great horned owl and
Isham the red-tailed hawk. Attendees will not only learn about the roles these birds play in Wyoming’s ecosystem, but will also get an up-close and personal view of the creatures.
The event is being hosted by the Rockpile Museum in collaboration with the Draper Museum Raptor Experience, a program known for bringing wildlife education to the public in an engaging and interactive way.
