GILLETTE, Wyo. — Unknown suspects reportedly shot out a loader’s windshield on North Highway 59 recently, with the damage discovered and reported on Sept. 11, according to the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office.
Undersheriff Quentin Reynolds said a 40-year-old man called the sheriff’s office around 2:23 p.m. Sept. 11 to report suspected bullet holes in a loader’s windshield that was parked at a gravel pit near mile marker 127 on N. Highway 59.
The reporting party had not seen the loader for approximately one month, and as such did not see who caused the damage nor did he have any way to identify potential suspects, Reynolds said.
The damage was estimated at $400, and there are no suspects, per Reynolds.
