GILLETTE, Wyo. — Widespread haze and air quality alerts are in effect due to western wildfires. A red flag fire warning is also in effect today through Thursday night.
According to the National Weather Service in Rapid City, South Dakota, Wednesday will see a high of 87 degrees and wind gusts of up to 31 mph. Thursday will be 84 degrees and see gusts up to 32 mph. Some rain showers are possible overnight.
Friday will be cooler, with a high of 74 degrees and blustery winds.
Saturday and Sunday will see temperatures returning to the low to mid-80s, and blustery winds with gusts of around 20 mph.
