GILLETTE, Wyo. — Following a similar event at the Wright branch library earlier this month, the Campbell County Public Library in Gillette will be hosting a used book sale starting Saturday, Sept. 14.
The event will run until the following Thursday, with books from a variety of genres available at discounted prices. For those who are a member of the Friends of the Campbell County Library group, there is an exclusive early sale window open on Friday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The sale is open to the public during regular library hours throughout the week. In the final two days of the sale, prices will drop even further. Sept. 18 and 19 are “bag days,” meaning all books will go for $5 per bag.
Used book sales help libraries clear out their inventory of less popular or older books to make way for new titles while giving the public an opportunity to bring books home to their own shelves.
