Kathy Arbogast: 1953 – 2024
Kathleen “Kathy” Arbogast, 71 of Gillette, Wyoming, passed away at her home on July 27, 2024, after a short battle with cancer.
Kathy was born in Springfield, Ohio on February 10, 1953 to Harriet and Lamar Arbogast. Kathy graduated in 1971 in Ohio and moved to Buffalo, Wyoming in 1976. She moved to California in 1979 and worked various jobs until she returned to Gillette, Wyoming in 1987.
In Gillette, she worked at few different places until she started working at Record Supply, Inc in 2000, where she was the Office Manager and Controller.
Kathy spent 19 years working at Record Supply until she retired in 2019. She loved to cook and plan the different events, including the family picnics each year. She had great joy getting to watch the kids play and grow up. She loved all the kids at Record and enjoyed teaching them crafts, cooking and gardening. Kathy was a master gardener and enjoyed sharing her knowledge with others. Kathy spent many years enjoying her beautiful yard and watching the birds. She had a way with nature and was such a beautiful soul. She will be missed by many.
Per Kathy’s requests she wanted her memorial services to held be at the change of seasons. The memorial services for Kathy will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday September 21, 2024, at Cam-plex Park – Shelter 5 with Erik Bergquist officiating.
Kathy is survived by her brother, Larry Arbogast from Buffalo, Wyoming; her niece, Misty (Jamey) Knaub from Wright, Wyoming; great-niece, Kimber Knaub and great nephew, Tanner Knaub; and her Record family. She was preceded in her death by sister-in-law, Jill Arbogast; and her parents.
