GILLETTE, Wyo. — With a string of sunny days, Gillette will see warming temperatures and at times breezy conditions.
The National Weather Service in Rapid City, South Dakota, is calling for a high of 77 degrees, the coolest day of the forecast period as a result of a cool front that dropped temps overnight into the high 40s. There’ll be a 7 mph breeze from the north. Tonight’s skies will remain clear as the low falls back to around 47 degrees. As winds shift from the north to the south, gusts of up to 15 mph will be possible.
Friday will bring more clear, sunny skies and a high of 82. Winds from the south will pick up to 6–9 mph with gusts of up to 15 mph that will kick up to as high as 25 mph during a mostly clear night. The low will be near 52.
This weekend will bring more of the same with sunny skies and still-climbing temperatures. Saturday’s high is forecast at 87, followed by 90 on Sunday. Gusts of up to 20 mph are forecast Saturday, falling to 15 mph on Sunday. Overnight, Saturday will see a low near 54. Sunday’s will be near 57.
