Campbell County Fire Dept. Report (9/3/24)

GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Campbell County Fire Department responded to the following incidents on Tuesday, Sept. 3:

  • At 12:58 a.m. to the 1700 block of West 2nd Street for an activated fire alarm.
  • At 1:56 a.m. to Mountain Meadow Lane for a medical emergency.
  • At 4:12 a.m. to Chara Avenue for a medical emergency.
  • At 7:54 a.m. to Chara Avenue for a medical emergency.
  • At 8:24 a.m. to Stone Crest Drive for a medical emergency.
  • At 11:10 a.m. to Gold Buckle Place for a medical emergency.
  • At 11:19 a.m. to Wyoming Avenue for a medical emergency.
  • At 11:29 a.m. to South Garner Lake Road for a medical emergency.
  • At 4:25 p.m. to Wolf Creek Lane for a hazardous materials investigation.
  • At 4:35 p.m. to Longmont Street for a two-vehicle collision.
  • At 6:10 p.m. to South Garner Lake Road for an activated fire alarm.
  • At 6:41 p.m. to South Douglas Highway for a medical emergency.
  • At 7:17 p.m. to West Echeta Road for a report of smoke in the area. Units arrived to find a significant wall of ash being driven by wind from the area of the Flat Rock Fire. No fire was found.
  • At 7:37 p.m. to Stanley Avenue for a report of a cooking fire. Crews arrived to find contents on a stovetop still smoldering, with smoke in the residence. Crews suppressed and removed the smoldering contents and ventilated the structure.
  • At 8 p.m. to Little Thunder Drive for a medical emergency.
  • At 8:45 p.m. to the Rochelle Hills area for the report of a glow. Crews from Campbell County and Weston County patrolled the area, with no fire found.
  • At 9:16 p.m. to Knollwood Drive for a medical emergency.

Year to date, the Campbell County Fire Department has responded to 2,281 requests for service.
