GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Splash Pad has closed for unexpected maintenance, according to the City of Gillette.
Per the city, the Splash Pad, located at 3400 Garner Lake Road within the Energy Capital Sports Complex, closed at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 26. The closure announcement did not state what sort of maintenance caused the closure.
The pad remains closed at the time of publication and an estimated reopening time has not been provided.
According to the city, the Splash Pad is an outdoor water recreation facility. It is open daily during the warmer months from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., though it may be closed at any time for weather, maintenance or other operational concerns.
