Shelly Bradley: 1966 – 2024
Shelly R. Bradley at 58 years passed away in Campbell County Health. She lived in Gillette with her family.
Shelly was born May 20, 1966 and was taken into the embrace of the angels August 18, 2024 where she is reunited with her mother and daughter. She is survived by three of her children; her grandbaby; father and younger brother, who loved her deeply; along with her dear friends near and abroad.
Shelly was a proud spiritual Christian, loving mother, nana, daughter and sister. She had a variety of talents, from crafts through to technology and many interests with a curious mind. She spent a lot of her time caring for and teaching her grandbaby.
She was always a beacon of light as she spread positivity, joy, inspiration and so much more to all those who interacted with her. She was a fierce protector of her babies, and a passionate supporter of all in need. Without her presence, there is left a void that could never be filled yet, we know she will always be watching over us and is forever etched into our hearts. Though she can no longer be seen, she will live on within us. She does not suffer but watches from heaven and cheers us on through our journeys.
Rosanne Ruth Rennell: 1955 – 2024
Rosanne Ruth Rennell, beloved mother, sister, friend and role model, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2024 at home in Gillette, Wyoming surrounded by her children. She was 68 years old.
Rose was born in Chamberlain, South Dakota to Theodore and Floreine Wiedrich, and grew up in Rapid City, South Dakota. She relocated to Gillette, Wyoming in 1980 and began her 37-year nursing career with Campbell County Health. Outside of work and well into her retirement, Rose enjoyed watching Tennis, NASCAR races with her son, and football games with her family. She loved a little competition with her brothers and nephews each football season while playing fantasy football, which she won last season. Most of all, Rose loved gardening and relaxing with a glass of wine on her patio in the backyard during the summer, basking in the sun.
To say that Rose was an extraordinary woman would be an understatement. The essence of her strength, work ethic, resiliency and level of devotion to care for others cannot be captured in these few short sentences. In 1989, an unfortunate car accident left Rose paralyzed and bound to a wheelchair but that did not preclude her from completing her higher education. While still in the rehabilitation center after the accident, she studied and worked on completing her associates degree in nursing and becoming a Registered Nurse. After returning to CCH, Rose changed her focus in nursing from the Nursery to Employee Health, while simultaneously completing both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (1997) and Master of Science in Nursing (2002) degrees at the University of Wyoming. She was certified as an Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) and, in 2016, she was awarded the prestigious CCH Legend Award for making CCH a safer place to work. She was very proud of her many projects, two of which included the No Needlestick campaign and the No Lift project that implemented overhead lifts at CCH and Legacy that now protects the patients/residents and the staff from back injuries. Additionally, Rose’s thesis developed the “light duty and early return to work” policy at CCH.
In 1991, Rose joined the Board of Directors of Wyoming Independent Living, most recently serving as Board President. In her 30 years of service, Rose used her personal experience to advocate for increased accessibility for those with disabilities. In 2009, Rose was awarded the Keith A. Miller for being “a force fighting for people with disabilities.” Her dedicated leadership will have a lasting impact on independent living services across the state of Wyoming.
The list of awards and accomplishments are endless, but Rose also found much reward in giving back to the community through her work at the First United Methodist Church. After retiring from CCH, Rose volunteered her time to being the backbone of the church’s Living Water Produce project, which she grew a strong passion for and was truly heartbroken when the project ended in 2023.
Rose is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Paul Domino; and her siblings Robert Wiedrich and Lynn Tarter. She is survived by her children, Scott Domino and Lynn Domino; and her brothers, Dan Wiedrich and Kirby Wiedrich.
You are invited to attend a celebration of life on August 28, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Gillette, located at 2000 W. Lakeway Rd, Gillette, WY 82718. Rose will be laid to rest next to her parents and son in August 29, 2024, and the graveside ceremony will begin at 1 p.m. at the Pine Lawn Memorial Park, located at 4301 Tower Rd, Rapid City, SD 57701.
May Rose rest in peace knowing she was deeply loved, admired, and cherished by all who knew her.

LaVerne married Daniel Sipe on July 31, 1981 in Gillette, Wyoming. The couple lived in Gillette and welcomed two daughters. Tashina Lynn and Serena Rene’. The family moved to Moorecoft, Wyoming in 1992 where they made their forever home where Dan remains living. LaVerne worked various jobs throughout her life including bartending and security for Black Diamond Investigations. Her true calling was cosmetology, she was proud to have been the first graduate of the College Of Cosmetology in Gillette in September 1980. She worked for many salons over the years before opening her home salon in Moorcroft.
Honoring a promise she made to her mother-in-law LaVerne earned her Certificate of High School Equivalency On December 14, 1993. LaVerne spent her life giving to others an always rooting for the underdog. She was an avid Raiders fan who had no problem getting on a bus full of Denver ‘Donkey’ fans and telling them her team was superior. LaVerne was quick to make new friends no matter where she was.
When asked to describe LaVerne her husband and daughters quickly responded “STUBBORN.” While she loved to help others she didn’t often allow anyone to return the favor. The pride of LaVerne’s life were her seven grandchildren. She would drop everything to be there when she was needed. Her one request of her family every year was for everyone to spend her birthday together in the Big Horn Mountains. While everyone else was out fishing and exploring, she could be found tending the campfire, making food, reading a book, braiding hair or snuggling a grandkid.

She often shared a reoccurring dream where she was an eagle soaring on the wind. We know that’s where she is now, flying above and watching over all of us. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials in LaVerne’s name to benefit The WYldlife Fund. Memorials in her name will go to the scholarship fund for The Whiskey Mountain Family Camp offered by Wyoming Game & Fish.
LaVerne and Dan had the opportunity to take two of their grandchildren in 2022 and she would love other families having the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors together.
