GILLETTE, Wyo. — There’s plenty to do in Gillette this weekend if you’re looking to get out of the house or celebrate a successful first week of school with the kiddos. Events listed below are pulled from our events calendar; click here to view the calendar in full.

Gillette College Pronghorns vs. Mohave Community College, 3807 College Drive

The Gillette College men’s soccer team is hosting its second home game of the year bright and early Saturday, kicking off against the Mohave Community College Bighorns at 9 a.m. Regular-season games are free to attend.

Sundance Lounge Karaoke, 1020 E. US Highway 14-16

Sing your heart out at weekly karaoke night at the Sundance Lounge. Starting at 8 p.m. every Saturday, you can sing along to your favorite tunes and enjoy nightly drink specials.

Teen Open Play Gaming, 2101 S. 4-J Road

The Campbell County Public Library offers open-play gaming for teens in grades 7–12 every Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Young gamers can sign up for turns and cooperatively choose games from the library’s collection.

U-Pic and Pics, 409 Mills Ave.

Strawflowers & Sage and Copper Creek Photography are teaming up for the annual U-Pick & Pics event on Saturday, Aug. 24 from 9 a.m. to noon. Eventgoers will pick their own bouquet and then capture timeless images with Copper Creek Photography’s micro garden sessions. $25.

August Wine Dinner at the Railyard Restaurant, 113 S. Gillette Ave/

The Railyard Restaurant will host its Monthly Wine Dinner on Sunday, Aug. 25 at 6:30 p.m. Each course in the five-course meal is paired with a unique wine. The chef and sommelier have crafted a menu that highlights the best of American cuisine, showcasing fresh, local ingredients and exceptional wine pairings.
