GILLETTE, Wyo.— The Campbell County Fire Department responded to the following incidents on Thursday, August 22:
- At 8:58 a.m. to 113 Interstate 90 for a report of a fire. CCFD determined that this was part of the Flat Rock fire and suppression units were already on scene.
- At 11:54 a.m. to South Douglas Highway for an emergency medical response.
- At 1:28 p.m. to 135 Highway 59 for a report of a single tree on fire. CCFD determined this was part of the Constitution Fire and suppression units were already on scene.
- At 7:59 p.m. to Lodahl Avenue for an emergency medical response.
- At 8:04 p.m. to 1715 West 2nd Street for an activated fire alarm.
- Suppression efforts are ongoing at both the Flat Rock Fire and Constitution Fire with progress being made. High temperatures, low humidity, wind and terrain continue to challenge limited resources in Campbell County. An updated press release will be shared as information becomes available.
Year to date the Campbell County Fire Department has responded to 2,162 requests for service.
