GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Campbell County Fire Department responded to the following incidents Wednesday, Aug. 7:
- At 12:29 a.m. to East Sunset Drive for an emergency medical response.
- At 12:44 a.m. to the 600 block of West Boxelder Road for an activated fire alarm.
- At 1:34 a.m. to the 2100 block of Westover Road for an activated fire alarm.
- At 3:36 a.m. to Lone Tree Drive for an emergency medical response.
- At 1:02 p.m. to James Court for an emergency medical response.
- At 1:25 p.m. to the area of Weston Hills for a timber fire. The fire is estimated to be 20 acres and was started by lightning. The fire is being managed by the Bureau of Land Management.
- At 3:33 p.m. to Primrose Drive for an emergency medical response.
- At 5:16 p.m. to the 2500 block of Ledoux Avenue for an activated fire alarm.
- At 5:19 p.m. to the 800 block of East 4th Street for a carbon monoxide investigation.
- At 5:22 p.m. to Reata Drive for an emergency medical response.
- At 7:06 p.m. to the area of Cow Creek Road for a report of a timber fire. No fire was located by firefighters upon arrival in the area.
- At 7:49 p.m. to Martingale Drive for an emergency medical response.
- At 10:22 p.m. to the 1500 block of East Highway 14/16 for a report of a vehicle that ran into a building. The building received minor damage and no injuries were reported.
- At 11:07 p.m. to Keeline Road for a report of a grass fire. Firefighters canceled after it was found to be a flare operating normally.
Year to date, the Campbell County Fire Department has responded to 2,011 requests for service.
