GILLETTE, Wyo. — From Friday to Sunday, Gillette offers multiple free and fundraising events to enjoy.

Customer Appreciation Event: Real Deals

Real Deals, 1850 W. Warlow Drive, is hosting a s’more customer appreciation event which began Thursday and continues until Sunday, Aug. 3. The event will feature a picnic basket, beach blanket and $100 gift card giveaway.

Back to School Bash: Kids Carnival

The Back to School Bash Kids Carnival, hosted by Campbell County Health, will take place Friday, Aug. 2 at 1 p.m. The event will feature pony rides, dunk tanks, balloon art, face painting, food trucks and more.

Stuffed Animal Sleepover: Wright Branch Library

The Wright Branch Library, 305 Wright Blvd., is inviting kids to bring their favorite stuffed animal to the library to build forts, read bedtime stories and tuck in their animal for a sleepover on Friday, Aug. 2 at 5:30 p.m.

Gillette Saturday Farmers Market

 The Gillette Saturday Farmers Market will take place by the CAM-PLEX, 1635 Reata Drive, between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3. The market features local vendors offering meat, dairy, produce, baked goods, canned goods, crafts, soaps, candies, dog treats, organic spices and more.

Karaoke at the Sundance Lounge

Cancer Shoot Out

Gillette Trap Shooters and H&R Block of Sheridan are teaming up to host the Cancer Shoot Out on Aug. 3 and Aug. 4 at 8 a.m. The two-day event is packed full of fun opportunities to win prizes. The event will be held at Gillette Gun Club, 706 Hannum Road.

8th Annual Matthew Sorenson Memorial Disc Golf Tournament

Sixth Annual Matthew Sorenson Disc Golf Tournament (Ryan Lewallen/County 17)

The disc golf tournament welcomes all skill levels with a variety of divisions. All proceeds will benefit educators and families in crisis. The tournament will be held at Dalbey Memorial Park, 900 Edwards St., on Saturday, Aug. 3 at 8:30 a.m.

Night at the Camporee

Community members are invited to join the International Pathfinder Camporee for the story of Moses in the form of a live, free musical production. The event will be held at the CAM-PLEX, 1635 Reata Drive, on Sunday, Aug. 4.
