GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Campbell County Fire Department responded to the following incidents on Thursday, July 18:
- At 8:35 a.m. to East Boxelder Road for an activated fire alarm.
- At 9:19 a.m. to East Sunset Drive for an emergency medical response.
- At 11:39 a.m. to the intersection of Madison Street and South Douglas Highway for a three-vehicle collision.
- At 1:26 p.m. to Northern Drive for a grass fire. The fire was contained at 0.1 acres.
- At 3:20 p.m. to Middle Prong Road for a grass and timber fire. The fire was found to be in Johnson County.
- At 4:37 p.m. to South Garner Lake for a two-vehicle collision.
- At 5:28 p.m. for a report of smoke in the area of York Road. No incident was found.
- At 5:50 p.m. to South Douglas Highway for a motor vehicle collision.
- At 9:59 p.m. to South Highway 59 for a grass fire. The fire was contained at 71 acres.
Year to date, the Campbell County Fire Department has responded to 1,772 requests for service.
