Wyoming man dead in vehicle collision near Wyoming-Montana border; collided with commercial truck

GILLETTE, Wyo. — A 27-year-old Wyoming man died Monday, July 8 near Frannie, Wyoming, after colliding with the back of a Peterbilt combination truck, according to preliminary information in a Wyoming Highway Patrol report.

The crash was reported at 10:05 p.m. along US 310 near milepost 256.8 in Park County, Wyoming, just south of the shared border with Montana. The report indicated that Scott Anderson was driving his Ford Escape at a high rate of speed when the Peterbilt truck was turning right into business access. The Ford impacted the truck at 115 mph.

According to the report, the driver of the truck was not injured.
