GILLETTE, Wyo. — Wyoming Superintendent of Public Instruction Megan Degenfelder will join state education officials in Gillette for an education town hall this week, according to the Wyoming Department of Education.
According to a meeting notice, Degenfelder will join WDE officials at the George Amos Memorial Building, 500 S. Gillette Ave., at 6 p.m. July 11 to provide an update on the WDE Strategic Plan.
Degenfelder is also expected to share how WDE works with local leaders to support students. The meeting is open to the public and residents are invited to join, share feedback and ask questions, per the notice, which says the meeting will be livestreamed on the WDE Facebook page.
