Taran Joseph Sanders: 1992 – 2024

Taran Joseph Sanders was born on June 2, 1992, in Gillette, Wyoming. He left us on July 5, 2024, at his home in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Taran graduated from Cheyenne Central High School in 2011. He went on to earn his degree from Laramie County Community College while working in their Grounds Department. He took great pride in his work and his education. Shortly after graduating, he moved to Colorado and began working at Lind’s Plumbing and Heating. Taran loved his job and his coworkers, playing video games, and spending time with friends. He was always chatting with strangers and took great pleasure in doing it. He had a gentle heart and a quick wit and will be profoundly missed by everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his father, DJ Sanders of Gillette, Wyoming; mother, Jawnie (Paul) Sanders of Fort Collins, Colorado; sister, Taylor (Tim) Miles of Fort Collins, Colorado; nephews, Maddox and Cooper; grandma, Laurie Moxley of Gillette, Wyoming; grandpa, Dewey Sanders of Gillette, Wyoming; aunt, Missie (James) Wooldridge of Gillette, Wyoming; aunt, Renae Blake of Dunedin, Florida; uncle, Loren (Noamie) Niemitalo of Gillette, Wyoming; uncle, Clark Niemitalo of Broomfield, Colorado; his cat, Hobbes; best friends, Jenn and Justice; and many aunts; uncles; cousins; and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandma, Dianna Sanders; and his grandpa, Ricky Niemitalo.
