LARAMIE, Wyo. — The Women’s Golf Coaches Association recently announced its All-American Scholars for the 2023–24 season, and two University of Wyoming Cowgirls were among those honored.

Jadan Gonzalez and Samantha Spielman were named All-American Scholars for the 2023–24 season. For Gonzalez, this is her fourth career All-American Scholar honor and her second as a Cowgirl. For Spielman, this is her first career appearance on the All-American list.

The WGCA All-American standards are among the highest in college athletics. Student-athletes must have achieved a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 and must have played in half their team’s rounds during the current season. They must be on their team’s roster at the conclusion of the season and must still hold their amateur status. Student athletes from any year in school and from all college divisions are eligible, including NCAA Division I, II and III; the NAIA; and the NJCAA.
