Glenn Howard Reed

Glenn Howard Reed: 1970 – 2024

Glenn Howard Reed 53, passed away unexpectedly at his home on June 27, 2024. He was born to Jim Mihelich and Joyce Nelson on October 27, 1970 lay in Newcastle, Wyoming.

At a young age, he was adopted by his mother’s late husband, Gail Reed. Glenn had a love for music, playing guitar, leather work, woodworking, hunting, fishing, camping and barbecues with family, including his kids and grandkids.

He met his soulmate, Kate, on March 12, 2019, married later on May 12, 2022, and what she gained a stepdaughter, Maddison; in-laws; nieces; and nephews that he fell in love with.

In July 2021, he found Jesus Christ through celebrate recovery, forever family, and a wonderful Christian organization  that his wife and himself enjoyed being very involved in.

Glenn Reed is survived by his wife, Kate Reed; daughter, Sapphire Sulzbach (Paul); three grandsons: Cassius, Vincent, Isaac; one granddaughter, Kyra; son, Dylan Reed; stepdaughter, Maddison Warner (Derek); in-laws, Dennis (Connie )Pate; sister-in-law, Jennifer (Dan) Bock; brother-in-law, Terry Hayward; sister-in-law, Jessica Pate; three nieces; and two nephews.

A celebration of life will be held in remembrance of Glenn July 14, 2024 at the fishing Lake Dolby Edwards shelter at 6:00 p.m. Please bring balloons to let go as well.


Eva Bell: 1952 – 2024

Eva Marie (Wagner) Bell, 71, of Gillette, Wyoming passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024.

Eva was born December 24,1952 in Loup City, Nebraska to Harold and Ruth (McKinney) Wagner. Her younger years were spent in Ravenna, Chapman and Grand Island, Nebraska. She attended K-9 in Grand Island. In 1968, the Wagner family moved to Chinook, Montana for the remainder of her high school years.

After graduation, Eva traveled, living in Lewistown, Montana, Reno, Nevada, Billings, Montana, and Gillette, Wyoming. Once in Gillette, she worked at McDonalds and Good Times, greeting the customers and making lots of friends.

Eva was full of life. Was a collector of many things. Loved telling stories, spending time with her siblings and entertaining her nieces and nephews.

Eva is survived by her brothers: James Wagner, of Ainsworth, Nebraska, Robert (Brenda) Wagner of Moorcroft, Wyoming and Samuel Wagner of Upton, Wyoming; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Karla Wagner and Ella (Wagner) Annis; and her brother, Richard Wagner.


Daniel Ray Jones: 1953 – 2024

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Daniel (Danny) Ray Jones on June 19, 2024, at the age of 71 at The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center, Gillette, Wyoming from complications of COPD.

He was born on May 31, 1953. Danny was the beloved son of Raymond Claude Jones and Janie Sue (Alford) Jones. Danny was married to his loving wife, Donna Kay (Hall) Jones, on March 21, 1977 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Together, they raised their twins, Sarah and Curtis. He was a devoted husband, father, and family man. His pride and joy was his granddaughter, Kaytlynn.

Danny attended school in Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Talco, Texas, and Moorcroft, Wyoming. He had a successful career working in the oilfields of both Texas and Wyoming, as well as with Pixley, PTI doing train crew transportation, and Blakeman Propane Inc., before retiring in December of 2019.

Danny enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, camping, being a camp cook, traveling with his siblings, playing cards, watching football, old and new westerns, and Walker Texas Ranger on TV. He was known for giving anyone he could a hard time and making all his nieces and nephews fluent in the art of pinching, especially with their toes.

Danny is survived by his children: Sarah (Mike) Norris Moorcroft, Wyoming, Curtis Jones Gillette, Wyoming; granddaughter, Kaytlynn McAllister Moorcroft, Wyoming; honorary “granddaughter,” Cheyenne Adams Moorcroft, Wyoming; siblings: Shirley Duncan (Richard Taparro) Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Patsy (Roger) Pollatt Newcastle, Wyoming, Rebecca (Randy) Blakeman Gillette, Wyoming; siblings-in-law: Mary Hall Talco, Texas, Mike Hall Talco, Texas, Carol Sue Whitney, Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Debbie (Chris) Waddell Mineola, Texas, Gynell Lawrence, Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Freida Andrews, Little Elm, Texas; special family friend, Penny Leis, Moorcroft, Wyoming; and many nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Claude Jones and Janie Sue (Alford) Jones; wife, Donna Kay (Hall) Jones; siblings: Gerald Eaton, Jimmy Eaton, Clifford Jones, Bill Duncan, Becky Hall, Elaine (Hall) Ewing, Steve Hall, Ronnie Lawrence, Charles Whitney; nieces, Heather Blakeman, Donna Wright; nephews, Brady Whitney, Dennis Ewing; great-nephews, Justin Jones, Doyle Brooks; cousins: Jainie (Hood) Wright, Jonny Hood, Kay (Jones) Martin, Don Logan.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for his family. A Celebration of Life will be July 2025.


Catherine Marie Wilhelms: 1935 – 2024

Catherine Marie Wilhelms age 88, of Gillette, Wyoming, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center. Graveside funeral service for Mrs. Wilhelms will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. A family viewing will take place prior on Wednesday, from noon to time of graveside at Gillette Memorial Chapel.

Born Catherine Marie Lowden, on July 18, 1935 in Greenwich Connecticut, to parents Susan “Suzie” Natale Covello and George “Frank” Lowden. Known lovingly to her cousins as Poochie and Cathy.

Cathy was an incredible artist and self-taught in many disciplines, musically, playing the pipe organ, piano and guitar. Master crafter in woodcarving, leather-smith, painting, sewing and her most treasured ceramic doll making. She took great pride in all of her passions, most notable were her award-winning dolls, which she made from start to finish by hand, carefully pouring the molds, painting the lifelike expressions, sewing the wigs and every detail on the meticulously designed outfits.

She was the epitome of “Anything you can do, I can do better,” an avid huntress, loved fishing, camping, traveling cross country and the great outdoors. Her love of animals, lead her to own her first business C & L Birds and Pets in Gillette.

She married the love of her life of 34 years, the late Lorin D. Wilhelms on Dec. 18, 1980 in Gillette, Wyoming. She is survived by her daughters: Debra Adameck Billie Lopez, Kimberly Vazquez, Destiny Rodriguez; and her son, Flores “Shane” Ibarrando; Tim Wilhelms; Nichole King; 29 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Lorin Wilhems and Florintino “Chico” Ibarrondo; brothers: Richard, George, Robert; and daughter, Faith A. Livermoore.
