GILLETTE, Wyo. — The National Weather Service in Rapid City, South Dakota, has declared a severe thunderstorm watch in effect for northeast Wyoming, including Campbell County, until 11 p.m.
The NWS in Rapid City warns that large hail and damaging winds are possible, alongside wind gusts of roughly 70 mph. There is a chance of isolated tornadoes as well. Residents are urged to use caution and to be prepared to take shelter if conditions worsen.
