Marvin Daniel Bushor

Marvin Daniel Bushor: 1946 – 2024

Marvin Daniel Bushor 77, of Gillette Wyoming passed away June 11, 2024 surrounded by his family after a long fight with cancer.

Marvin was born on October 5, 1946 to George and Alta (Shrofe) Bushor; joining siblings: Dwayne, Roland, Roderick, Arvid, Darwin, Roger, Ramona, Donna, Ardis, Juanita, Teresa, and Alita.

Marvin was a medical corpsman in the Army during the Vietnam War where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal and the Republic of Vietnam Champaign Medal. Marvin spent many years logging and working in the oil field as well as a mechanic. Marvin moved around to many different states before settling down in Gillette, Wyoming.

Marvin was known for his kindness and generosity, always helping others in their time of need.

Marvin is survived by son, Eldon (Susan) Bushor; grandchildren: Bronson, Arvid, Tony, Darcy, Samantha, JD, John, Sasha, Jamie, Jordan and Proby; six great-grandchildren which he loved dearly. He is also survived by his siblings: Darwin (Barbara) Bushor, Roger (Donna) Bushor, Ardis Teal, Juanita (Ron) Evans, Teresa (Bill) Mortenson, Alita Evans; in-laws: Val Thilmany, Sallie Bushor, Diane (Joey) Davis.

He is preceded in death by his children, Marvin Bushor and Menque Schafer; siblings: Dwayne Bushor, Roland Bushor, Roderick Bushor, Wayne Bushor, Arvid Bushor, Ramona Bushor, and Donna Thilmany; along with six nephews and three nieces.

Ramona Lucille Einfalt

Ramona Lucille Einfalt: 1936 – 2024

Ramona L. Einfalt age 87, of Gering, Nebraska passed away at Primrose Retirement Community, Gillette, Wyoming on June 10, 2024. 

Delores Katherine Likewise

Delores Katherine Likewise: 1944 – 2024

Mass of Christian Burial for Delores Likewise will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church with Father Bryce Lungren officiating; interment to follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Rosary service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Monday June 17, 2024 at Gillette Memorial Chapel.

Early in the morning on June 12, 2024, Delores (Dee) Katherine Likewise, beloved mother of three sons and grandmother of seven, was called to heaven and passed peacefully while surrounded by loved ones.

Her strength for family and faith in the church left a void that cannot be replaced.

Delores was born on July 31, 1944, in De Smet, South Dakota to Earl and Clara Cavanaugh. She was raised in De Smet until visiting her sister in Gillette, Wyoming in 1962 where she met Larry and was married in January 1963, and began her longstanding family life.

Delores enjoyed holiday gatherings and traveling to see family and her grandchildren. She loved reading, baking, and spending time with family and friends. Delores touched many lives in generous ways, often leading to lifelong friendships. Over the course of several years, she was a mother to over fifty foster children providing love and strength during difficult times in their lives. She retired from Wyodak Coal Mine where she spent 28 years working in various positions. Many people have very fond memories of her personally shopping to pick out a personalized Christmas present for each child attending the company Christmas party.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Alice, and Maragret; and brother, Donald.

She is survived by her husband, Larry; three children: Larry, Jerry, and Randy; seven grandchildren: Eric, Nicole, Nate, Stephen, Krista, Derick, and Damon; and seven great-grandchildren: Kaiden, Pru, Zayde, Carson, Brexlie, Carter, and Luna; brother, Bernard, and sister, Marylou.

She was an inspiration to all and displayed an unmatched faith and humility. She dedicated her life to putting everyone’s needs ahead of her own. 

Edward L. Pittman

Edward L. Pittman: 1951 – 2024

Edward “Eddie” Lynn Pittman, 72, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 after a battle with COPD and cancer.

Edward was born in Haskell, Texas on June 20, 1951 to Dorothy Allene (Miller) and Dudley Edward Pittman. He grew up with three younger brothers, and two younger sisters.

Eddie met Stephanie Ringland in Miles City, Montana and they were married in 1975. To this union, two children were born – Edward and Lynn. They made their home in Gillette, Wyoming and were later divorced. He spent his career working in the oil field as a laborer.

In his younger years, he enjoyed listening to country music, singing and playing his guitar. An unfortunate car accident in 2001 left him disabled. He enjoyed watching news and movies as well as visiting with his family.

Eddie had a witty sense of humor with a funny laugh. He had a strong faith in his lord and savior Jesus Christ. We rejoice that he is in the loving arms of Jesus. Celebrating his arrival in heaven are his mother; father; and sister, Kaylene (Terry) McCrann.

Eddie is survived by his former wife, Stephanie (Ringland) Pittman; children, Edward Pittman of Helena, Montana and Lynn Pittman of Billings, Montana; stepfather, Roland Scott; siblings: Randy (Rose) Pitman, Wayne (Lorna) Pitman, Kenneth (Beth) Scott and Shannon Cubbon; as well as many grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

Eddie will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by those who love him.

A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, June 17, 2024 at Mount Pisgah Cemetery beginning at 1:00 p.m.
