Gloria Elaine Brannam: 1945 – 2024
Gloria Elaine Brannam, 78, was born July 21,1945 to George and Olive Nordman in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She was called home on Sunday, May 19, 2024.
She married Elmer George Brannam Jr. August 16, 1963. Together they had six children. They divorced in 1982, however; she remained faithful to her vows and never remarried.
Elmer and Gloria moved to Gillette, Wyoming in 1980, where she lived out the remainder of her years. She spent many of those years as a loyal employee at Albertson’s until she retired at the age of 62. After retirement she spent her time making wonderful memories with her family and making friends with any cat or dog she came in contact with. She is loved beyond measure and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Gloria is survived by her children: Russell James, Elmer George III (Karen), Melissa (Humberto), Julie, Tom; her sister, Judy; her grandchildren: Tim(Tana), Daniel, Danielle (James), Eric, Blake (Yadira), Michael (Shelby), Courtney, Katie, Jonathan, Kayla, Taylor, Stevie, Andrew; and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother; father; stepfather; daughter, Tina; brothers: David, Donnie, George; and her sister Nancy.
She will be cremated at her request. There will be a family service held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your local animal shelter on Gloria’s behalf.
Marion Albert Ealy: 1949 – 2024
Funeral services for Marion “Butch” Ealy will be held Friday, May 24, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at the Gillette Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2024.
Marion “Butch” Ealy passed away Monday May 20, 2024, from natural causes. Butch was born April 13, 1949, to Murel and Gladys (Hockett) Ealy in Sundance, Wyoming.
He joined the Army in 1969, where he served as an Artilleryman with Battery C, 1st Battalion, 36 Artillery. Honorably discharged in 1970, he returned home where he eventually met the love of his life, Thelma Cure. They married on October 16, 1971, and had three sons: Monte, Corey, and Kenneth.
An avid outdoorsman, Butch enjoyed elk hunting and camping in the Big Horns, Tetons, Snowies, and the Black Hills. He was also a fixture in the local horseshoe league and at state level tournaments and was instrumental in helping to bring the World Horseshoe Pitching tournament to Gillette in 2006.
He is survived by his three sons: Monte (LaTisha) Ealy, Corey (Shelly) Ealy, and Kenneth Ealy; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma; his parents, Murel and Gladys; his sisters, Sandra and Shirley; and his grandson, Marshall Ealy.
Timothy Charles Williams: 1964 – 2024
Timothy Charles Williams, known affectionately as Tim, passed away on May 19, 2024, at his home in Gillette, Wyoming. Tim was born on July 27, 1964 to Zeb and Mitchelena Williams in Seminole, Texas. Tim’s early years were shared with his siblings, Danny and Carl, creating a tapestry of memories filled with laughter and camaraderie.
Professionally, Tim served the Gillette community for over 30 years in Emergency Medical Services as an EMT and as a volunteer firefighter with the Campbell County Fire Department, later retiring as a Battalion Chief. At the time of his death, Tim worked as a Safety Manager at Powder River HVAC. His passion and dedication were evident in his work as he devoted himself to others and ensured he helped the lives of those around him.
A man of many talents, Tim found joy in exploring as many hobbies as possible throughout his life. Whether that was beekeeping, pottery, scuba diving, wood turning, climbing, caving, cooking, reading, shooting or photography, Tim aimed to always strive towards trying new things.
Before his passing, Tim married his longtime love, Christal Williams, in a private ceremony. Tim’s legacy is also carried on by his two sons, Corey (Chelsey) Williams and Cameron (Andrea) Williams; his stepson, Rollie (Dallas) Price; and grandchildren: Taliah, Ily, Amara, Jaxson, and Nova Price.
A service to celebrate Tim’s life will be held on May 31, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Gillette Memorial Chapel, 210 W Fifth Street in Gillette, Wyoming.
